Winter Wonderland

As I already mentioned in one of my previous entries, I spent most of the holidays in Moscow. I was there for 6 days and I celebrated the New Year over there. It was an amazing experience and I saw something new every day. Decoration also looked unreal and absolutely charming.

As for Christmas Eve and Christmas, I spent them in Nizhny Novgorod. Most of the days I was video-chatting with my family and my friends. At Christmas Eve I ate dry fruits and pumpkin because it is our tradition. On Christmas day I visited a church at morning and than prepared a little celebrational meal for my roommate and me. Than I studied a little because we have that superstition that you will be very good at something for the whole year if you do it at Christmas day, so I tried. Then I watched some old Serbian movies and talked with family and friends in between.

These little holidays we had weren’t very special, but they helped me to recover the strength and energy for last parts if the first semester.

Right now I’m looking forward to February holidays since I’m going home and I’m thinking only about them!
